It may be a strange fact, in recent years I have been looking back on my past more and more. Am I getting old? You would almost think so. I once learned that as you get older you start looking back more often on the things you would have liked to do better or differently. Of course, this is only possible as you have more life experience, and can spend the time on this.

When you look back on your life, was that your life, or the interpretation you saw or heard from others? Have you often “mirrored” yourself to others around you? Was or is your discipline also appreciated by others? Are you also curious who came up with this method or roles? Do you believe in a god and the Bible, or maybe in reincarnation? Do you think that because of your discipline and/or industry, you will ever get a nice place in heaven?

Do you believe in reincarnation, i.e. that you will get a new life after death? The Gnostics of the ancient world believed that God was in man and that heaven was the universal together, but did they take the knowledge with them into their next life? Or do we all go on the scales with Krishna after our death, after which he determines in which role we can or may return in a new life, or would he rather go straight to hell? Whatever you think or feel, or think you feel, doesn’t matter to me in the end, but the question remains: “did you determine your own life, or did you let it be determined”, by people who told you that they knew and could teach you if you just listened carefully, and did what they said and predetermined for you?
