Solar panels, electric cars, and so-called green solutions are sold as saviors, yet often mask pollution, profit motives, and hidden taxes. Subsidies lure us in, then vanish. Governments, backed by marketing spin and vested interests, push revenue schemes disguised as progress. Public health costs rise, accountability fades. The system profits — not people. Always question who really benefits.o you also think solar panels are so expensive to use?

Time and time again, the technical geniuses of our world manage to surprise us with newly invented products. And most of those new products that are coming onto the market today are also energy efficient. Energy efficient, a nice slogan that everyone is running after now. We as humans constantly hear how expensive and polluting the extraction of energy is. This message almost compels us to be a “good person” and to practice frugality. But is it really all that expensive and polluting, or does it force us humans to look in a different direction?
Where are you looking at?
Does it force us in the direction of new revenue models, or new sources from which taxes can be earned or higher profits can be achieved? Think of the electric car, whose battery now appears to be heavily polluting, and causes even more problems than its predecessors. Take a good look around and think about all the products that had a dazzling introduction with a subsidy and a tax break. Think of those solar panels that used to provide a subsidy, and a fee for energy to be fed in? Products were all introduced as good for the earth and us as humans. If you dig deep into your memory, you will find quite a lot of them, I think. Why is that?
Are you willing to pay more taxes?
I think tax comes and goes. As I have written before, civil servants have expensive advisers, but a lot of tax revenue also disappears over the years. Think, for example, of the booze and cigarettes. Public health is also costing more and more, people are getting older and people who ignore their health are still being helped at our expense. To me, governing is nothing more than running a market. A group of people studying with market research, for which they are willing to pay. Fortunately, there are no more wars in Europe, but as a result, the replacement demand is decreasing. Companies need to seek new sources of revenue with new products as demand for the old one’s wanes.
Are you also the new prospect?
Then you get crowding out in all markets, to which the government is doing its bit. Philip Kotler’s marketing is being poured over us by the government. And behind every revenue model there is also an earner. They will have the right contacts at “government level”, but where does all the money earned from all those earners go? Please note! Things appear and disappear, but the smartest magicians remain. Be wary of new trends touted by your government. Always take a wait-and-see approach. The profit is Always in the tail.
